Individual Coaching
The pace, complexity, and digital demands of modern life very often lead to a feeling of inner chaos, stress, anxiety, and imbalance. In this state we experience a constant, low-level sense of being disempowered, fragmented, and unable to perform to our greatest capacity and fully enjoy life.
With the right mindfulness practices, we set the conditions for optimal performance, wellbeing, and enjoyment of life. These elements feed into one another. Mindfulness directly addresses the roots of all three.

Mindfulness is not necessarily one-size-fits-all. However, there are a range of well-researched practices and techniques. It's simply a matter of identifying the best fits for you and establishing a routine that works for your lifestyle.
Many people find having a coach beneficial in finding the right method for them, and essential to establishing and keeping up a regular practice. It can be helpful to have someone to share your experience with, and answer questions that come up along the way about the technique. In addition, as your mindfulness practice progresses, a coach can guide you in adding methods and techniques to deepen and expand.
What we know from the more than 3,500 studies conducted on mindfulness in the last decade, is that regularity is key to experiencing the multitude of benefits. The majority of studies have shown results with as little as ten minutes of mindfulness practice per day over a period of 8 weeks. Having a coach dramatically increases the likelihood of sticking with it, by establishing a sustainable daily routine that is right for you, and supporting you along the way.
I offer 1:1 coaching in person or via skype.
- In the initial session we chat about your goals and identify which mindfulness practices will be most beneficial to you and sustainable with your lifestyle.
- I guide you through these specific practices and send you a personalised plan with reminders on the instructions, and if requested guided audio meditations.
- We then speak weekly or monthly (up to you) to check in on how your practice is going, adjust as needed, answer questions about the technique or what you are experiencing, and do some guided mindfulness together
A 5-10 minute initial consultation to see if this is a good fit for you, is complementary.
Oxford University Students can see me for 1:1 during my office hours at the Launchpad.
